I failed emissoins--what do i do now?
Hey i just failed emissions. I failed on HC(Hydrocarbon) and CO(carbon monoxide). The legal limit in GA for HC is 147, i was 300. The legal limit for CO is 0.82, i was 8.23. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to pass next time i go?---I am going to put in the stock p28 computer next time i go. What if i fail again, what happens then?

I was trippling the numbers across the board with a 2.5 Adrian teo cat..put the stock cat back on along with stock manifold and passed with betters numbers than pair of BIG BIG *******.

Hook up a Autometer air/fuel gauge, While idling reduce fuel pressure till the gauge bunches from rich to lean at an even rate. Then retard the timming to 12 deg. that will pass even without a Cat, a Cat will help for sure, get the cat hot before they do the sniffer test.
