Default Never seen this happen..

i have a 93 dx 5spd accord f22a1 previous owner put a adjustable cam gear on it he had it running then he put water in the radiator the head stoped and the timing slipped some teeth so we put the belt back on tdc and the head put it back together and it ran like crp so i expected bent valve well i baught it and took it home did compression chech and all were good so that means no bent valve well i tried to start it again and it ran but like crap then couple seconds later BAM! the cam snaped and the cam gear broke off camshaft broke too i was like wtf? anyone know what could make this happen?

Lack of oil can do it.

that could have happened due to it being to tight i've heard of that before but that would have not made it run like crap unless he didnt set the timing ryt

The cam broke off at the gear. It was running fine both times, but when water goes in either the rad, or when thermostat opens the car shuts off violently. Loud crack noise the first time it happend. Then the cam broke off at the gear the second time

i agree punctuation would really help you find the solution to your problem faster with no punctuation people are like what am i reading and then they get lost and try to think about what is going on and they ask themselves if they really want to answer your question at all because they cant even read the **** straight so they dont bother reading the rest of it and they just let you know to use more punctuation because its so friggin hard to read without it
