d16a6 to d16z6 swap. ECU question
i've got a 91 crx si and i'm about to swap the d16a6 for a d16z6 my car is manual now but the engine im swaping is auto. is there anything i need to do to the ecu? can i still use my manual trans or do i need a 92-95 manual trans? is there any special wiring that needs to be done besides v-tec?
any help would be appreciated
thanks
even though i am swaping the whole engine should i treat it just like a mini-me

the engine being from an auto car won't matter - just put your Si flywheel and clutch on it (use the Si flywheel bolts) - wiring depends on whether you are staying OBD0 or switching to OBD1 - use the Si engine harness and modify it as necessary - same wiring as if you were just putting the D16Z6 head on your engine
