please help, how do i install a new distibutor? i have unistalled my old one and left a mark to know the position of the old distributor was at! and my neighbor says the timing must be right! i have a GSR td84 distributor with a ls/vtec motor!

 

it will only go in 1 way.

 

well i wish it could go one way, but the timing on the distributor has to corrected! if then timing is off what will it do when i start the car! so what is the right way to install the distibutor and to preadjust the timming how do i do that??
