Default Service engine light. Will not reset HELP!!!

Im a new owner of a 92 Prelude SI 5 speed original motor H23a. I bought it not running. Guy I bought it from did a H22a swap and heard a noise in engine when he started it a got flustrated and sold it to me. Needless to say the noise was just a loose flywheel. Anyway here is my problem. Car starts but runs horrible and will not go above 3,000 rpm, it just cuts out, back fires ect.....Like its in limp mode. Engine light is on and it will not reset or even blink. When key is turned to the on position light comes on and stays on. It will not show me any codes. I plugged in original computer and it does the same thing. The voltage at the computer for the Throttle position sensor is supposed to read .5v at no throttle and 4.5v at wide open. Im getting .012v at closed and 3.2 at wide open? Is this the problem? I unplugged the TPS and no change in light. Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated!!!!!
