someone want to trade a built h22 head with my rims and i was wondering how can i tell if it is built..he said it has skunk2 camshaft, spring retainer, port polish, 5 valve angle job skunk2 cam gears....i look at the head and the camshaft are black isn't stock polish...but is there a way i can tell if it at least have skunk2 camshaft...does it has a label or code or do i have to look at the lobes? and yes i search and found only comparing camshaft, i can't fine anything about how to tell it..

 

there are some numbers on the camshafts - let me know what those are. Oh, how much is he charging you for them? 'cause if he's letting it go for cheap, its not real.

 

Have it pressure-tested before you give anything on trade! Just makes me kind of wonder why someone would want to get rid of a built head.

There should be an "S2" stamped, like this:

ok i took a look at it and there is no number, on the side it say s10 tht is on the side where the dizz goes in... i have volk te37....on the pic where it say s2 ..this cam, the groove thing isn't big even to have letters.... how do i post pic?
