personal reviews from the ssac or xs racing please
ive heard alot of bad talk about the ssac and xs racing company and i have heard few good things about them. but most of the guys that talk **** about them havent owned one. if u have had any experience with one of these companys i would appreciate it if u could tell me and honda-tech. lately ive been starting to hear good things about them. and i want to know from real hard core experience.
I have been running one of their mani's on my car for four months now because it was all I could get ahold of when I needed a new mani late at night. Couldn't wait a week for another so I picked this up.
I will tell you right now, they are garbage. The Metal is thin, the welds are ****, and I am surprised it's still holding together but I did brace the hell out of mine.
I figured it would be trashed within a month or so but it's still holdind strong for me so I haven't replaced it because I can't bring myself to since it's still working.
If I were you though and there was a way around buying one as it's not a need, save up some more cash and just order the good stuff so you won't be spending it again later.

thx for the advice and experience, ive heard the only crappy things are there turbo's and there exhaust mani's. but thx again for the review. is there any body with a good review???
yeah, what else is there major in a turbo kit, manifold and turbo, everything else can be trash and still work fine. there manifolds FALL apart, but the turbo's are OK, but the seals inside them are junk. overall, if you dont mind changing seals, and buying manifolds a few times a year, go ahead and get one of the kits.

Yeah, I've gone the cheap route before and its not worth it. I purchased an SS Autochrome manifold and turbo and the oil seals blew out in under 5000 KM and the manifold was cracked in half within a month.
