Ok i got a turbo set up in the process.... 350-550+ HP to the wheels

set up is the h22 engine with h2b with a tilton twin disk and gsr tranny

seth told be i need a aluminum flywheel but i can't find one that has a bigger weight like 9-12lbs thats kinda what i'm looking for.

he told me that the he between diffrent metals could warp so he said go with aluminum??

help me out so i can get my h2b installed.

 

Aluminum is the worst/cheapest flywheel material. Especially with that much hp - the clutch is going to eat through the flywheel in no time.

Find a chromoly flywheel.

 

yeah i already got a exedy 9.5 or 11 i can't remeber but since seth said that???? i was kind a confused.

 

All aluminum flywheels aren't made entirely of aluminum. Most Honda units use a steel insert, so wear is the same as stock. (considering high hp use) I have a tilton twin disc in an H22 powered 92 cx hatch. The tilton setup comes with a lightened steel flywheel. Boost is variable. (300whp - 500whp)
The clutch takes some getting used to as it grabs some on take off. It's super strong and dependable. Acouple of local drag cars making 500-650whp, regularly abuse their tiltons and have only good things to say about them. These discs have the regular facing and are not the carbon twin.

 

yeah seth was just worry about the heat trasfer throught the diffrent metals from steel to aluminum and cause it to warp but if i'm going to kill the fly wheel i might be better with the steel.
