Default Poll: Which sway bar setup? ITR w/ BSQ kit or Comptech w/ lower tie bar

Just as the title asks, which sway bar is a better choice overall, I know the ITR setup is tried and true, although I worry about ripping my rear subframe out. Suggestions and comments are welcome

Comptech

or
ITR

First of all, that pic of the Comptech setup is out dated. That is a Gen1 swaybar with their tiebar combo. As far I as know the Gen1 Comptech bar and ITR bar are the same when it comes to stiffness etc.etc.
The new Comptech bar has a different shape and is adjustable. IMO, I would just get the Comptech rear tiebar and the ITR swaybar. Reason being I like the fact that I can use factory endlinks, bushings and modified D-brackets. -John

you won't rip your subframe with the itr rear sway if you get the BSQ kit.

also, whether you chose the ITR or Comptech setup entirely depends on how much money you want to spend. If you are willing to drop more than 3 c-notes, then go for the comptech. if you're on a tigher budget, then go for the itr setup.

the comptech will be a bit stiffer, but it's a lot more expensive, so you decide.

Yeah, I did, I sold it for a 99' GSR due to some financial issues

So the ITR w/ BSQ kit poses no risk of tearing the subframe???

You shouldnt have any subframe issues if you install it with the BSQ kit. Ive had mine installed for 3+ years and there hasnt been any issues yet.

I also have the Honda 22mm and BSQ kit. It's been on the car for four years with numerous autocross events each year and no signs of problems.

If I were to do it again, ASR would be my choice.

as others have stated, if I were to do it all over again, probably would be the asr kit. The asr kit looks like a solid/quality piece of equipment. But if I could find a comptech sway/tie combo for a good price, I'd settle for that.

Comptech combo is adjustable which gives you tunability which is a big deal if your building a track and street car.

asr= a spec racing
its a lower tie bar/plate you can mount a sway bar to so you dont get sub frame tear out

id get the comptech
it wont cause sub frame tearout
gives good lateral support
and is adjustable
