00' civic parts in a 96-98 civic?????

Default 00' civic parts in a 96-98 civic?????

i was thinking about doing a conversion with my gf's 98' civic and swaping 00' civic parts into it. i was wondering if all the parts are bolt ons. like headlights, taillights, bumpers and other parts. let me know. thanks

The front end is different. The Front Grille, Bumper, Headlights, and Fenders will not fit. The rear stuff will. Unless, you swap out ALL of the front parts listed above all at once. And then I think you still have to do a little bit of custom work. I don't think the fender well trim fits either, but Im not sure on that.

Yes its bolt on.
You will need to drill 2 new holes in the Square TABS on the core support that hold the bumper in place.

you will see when youhold the 99-00 bumper up to the 96-98 coresupport

you dont even have to do that if you dont want to... 99-00 can go on 96-98 civic i have done it.... you just have to replace the whole front end including fenders,hood, lights, bumper, grille

soo then if i wanted to replace the front i would have to do everything at once? would the oem si lip kit fit on the stock 96-98 civics?
