i getting some tein springs next week
i have a 99 accord, 4 cyl 4 door
the springs should give me 2 " drop at front,
1.7 " drop at rear

car now has 61000 miles on it..
how long do u think that the stock shock absorbers will last ?

there are no KYB AGX's made for the 6th gen accord. Gr-2's are no better than OEM if you have aftermarket springs. you're looking at Tokico Illuminas or Koni's

I have illuminas on my car, dropped 1.8"-1.7" f/r with no problems. You definitely don't want to be dropped 2 inches on stock shocks.

BTW where did you get your teins, there are LOTS of counterfeits going around.

lol yea there are a lot of fake teins going around on ebay. luckily i didn't purchase any of those. but if you get a 2" drop, i suggest u get bilstein or koni's, but has anyone experience any other shocks for 2" drop. i have the neuspeed race sitting around still deciding what shocks to get.

gr-2's are actully desined to be alot softer then oem, their aim is luxuary, yes they will "work", yes they will hold under heavy driving conditions, but no... they willnot work the way high preformance shocks are suposed to, they dont give you that "feeling" of the road... they have a way of turning a 10k spring rate into stock... worst investment you can make if your gonna drop your car...
