Default i get on it, then the temp goes up

every time i get on it about 5 seconds later the water temp goes all the way up and stays there until i rest my car for about 5-7 min whats the problem, and my fan is working, i have no coolent leaks because i did a pressure test about 4 days ago and nothing was leaking, do i need to reserfice my head or what

Check you thermostat. Its probably failing.

Its possible the head is lifting. Whats your setup?

Is your coolant reservoir full after this happens?

i just put in a new thermostat about a month ago, um the only mod i have is intake and my reservoir is at full when i checked it

Yea I mean I can only offer minimal advice as I am not a mechanic or anywhere near it but from personal experience... when I boosted my sohc I had the same issue when my head was lifting. Maybe your hg is blown?

New parts can be bad as well. You could also have blockage in your radiator. When the temperature spikes, is your radiator really hot? Does the heater blow really hot? (Turn it on to check.)
