PLEASE HELP DIAGNOSE!!!
ok heres wat goin on with my db8
to start out ... turn the car on.... and its loping at idle only when i first start it up, after about 15 seconds it chills out and just idles normally...
ok i go driving and the car drives normal, it may have a little less power than normal, but nothing significant... as long as i'm moving the car is fine, but if i have to slow down, or when im sitting in traffic, my car starts to overheat... i mean OVERHEAT
and to add to that, if i turn my a/c on the car starts to overheat no matter if im moving or not, and when i first turn the a/c on theres this annoying @$$ skreeching sound.
i'm burning oil, and i'm losing coolant.
if you guys could please help me out, and tell me what you think, i'd be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance

could be alot of things... fuel? spark? tune up?

maybe the fan isnt kicking in... have you checked your coolant?
Id say youre overdue for a tune up and just maintenance work.

I had a friend who basically had the same problem. It turned out to be his head gasket. Try replacing it. I know it's alot of work but for $60 it could make all the difference. Hopefully your head isn't warped from all the overheating. If it is you'll have to get it milled. If your cylinder head is too far out of spec you'll have to get anew one. good luck.
Alright, to me it sounds like the idle issue could be resolved by replacing the cap, rotor, plugs, and wires. Just do a regular tune-up on it.
Now, about the overheating issue. On electric fans at a stop they should be on to create airflow through the radiator. It there not working then there is no cool air getting blown through the radiator. Also if the fans are stuck on (unlike your car) while you are on the freeway or something that will actually cause less air to flow through your radiator because the fans are slowing the airflow rather then letting the air flow directly into the radiator. My money is either on the fans or the fan switch. Let me know if it ever turns on... Also about the losing coolant. Are you blowing white smoke out the exhaust? Because if you happened to warp the head due to overheating it you could have blown your head gasket. Lets hope thats not the case though. But sometimes blown head gaskets don't smoke though. Also, with a blown headgasket you will have a little loss of power too.
The screeching sound is probably the ac pump. It probably went bad, so now when the ac clutch engages when you turn it on it makes the engine work harder and the belt may be slipping cause it to screech, or maybe some of the internals could be causing the sound.
Well I hope this helps a little

You need to find that coolant leak. It could be the headgasket. Have you tried a compression or leakdown test to diagnose this? You could also have a bad thermostat.
