how much can i take off a head?

Default how much can i take off a head?

i was wondering how much i can safely shave off a D16Z6 head to help with the horse power gaining and does any one know were i can pick up larger valves and seats?

be careful with getting the head shaved yes it will bump the compression but will not allow you to run as big of a cam.

what causes you to not be aloud to use a larger cam?

I'm guessing he means valve to piston clearence. When you shave the head, you bring the valves closer to the pistons. With an aggressive cam, you run the risk to the two colliding, killing your motor.
