makes the combustion chamber smaller, ie Higher compression. The drawbacks are the cams are retarded cus the head is shorter. nothing adj cam gears wont fix. and some people have head warpage problems when they deck too much off.

I've never heard flycutting to describe milling a head. I've heard of flycutting pistons to to make clearance for valves.

A fly cutter is a fancy drill bit that is used in a mill thats all. They are used to cut wide surfaces in small incriments.

The ones that should be used to mill a head should be atleast as wide as the head so it wont have the risk of leaving a step if the mill is slightly out of tram.
