its could be one of your idle air control sensors located near the tb/intake manifold.

how did you check for vaccum leaks? what rpm range?

i had left a piece of the TB gasket between the TB and IM flange and spent days hunting for answers.

best of luck

-did you cover/fill/close the cruise control nipple on the bottom left of the manifold?

-use a new throttle body gasket?

-check the tension of the throttle cable so the throttle plate is closed?

-make sure all bolts are tight?

- after all this is checked ..reset the ecu and when you start the car run the heat full blast for a few mins to get all the air bubbles out of the coolant lines

Does your idle flucate or just sputters? What year y8 manifold did you use? Also what ecu are you using? Did you ever reset the ecu?

Damn I'm looking for answers for a friend who did this also. I'll need to see what tb they are using. But he has a cx and put a ex manifold on it also. The damn car sounds like it has a cam in it, idles up and down, up and down, ect.
