The B16A-powered model was called the "SiR" in Japan and the "VTEC" in the US. In Japan it was available with an automatic or manual trans, but in the US it was only offered with a manual. The USDM del Sol "Si" was powered by a SOHC VTEC D16 and was available with an automatic or a manual.

The del Sol VTEC was sold from '94-97. The S and Si models were sold from '93-97.

Del Sol VTEC's are really a pain to search the classifieds for thanks to the retarded trim name. Often mistakenly, sometimes on purpose SI's are called VTEC's because the SI engine is in fact VTEC. Tranny and sometimes color are about the best ways to sift through the lesser sol's!
