after swapping a b16a2 into my 96 ek..using the b16 throttle cable. the gas pedal is very soft. you can press it, and feel like it's pressing nothing. I tried adjusting the throttle cable nuts under the hood but didn't do much. any suggestions?

 

first of all... you have a new Throttle body (b16a2) that will change the feel..

check the tension on the throttle body springs.. if you can go full throttle and let off slowly.. and it shuts right.. then it's fine..

Throttle pedal is not like a clutch/brake pedal..
