Is it my alternator?
I was driving my car and I noticed my speedometer wasnt working, couple minutes later my lights on my dash were dimming, then my headlights went out one by one, all of my lights check engine/maint req'd/oil/abs/ ect came on, then when i got home my car wont start, jumped it and it started up fine and the lights were on, then when i pulled off the jumper cables it started to do it all again. Does this seem like the alternator or the battery? It wont start unless I jump it.
Same thing happened to me once, thought it was the alternator so I changed it. Turns out it was a alternator fuse
So I would check the fuse under the dash first.

Sounds like your alternator isnt charging your battery and your car is slowly draining your battery down. Although, its kinda strange about the dash lights, the only thing i can think of is the key ignition switch is doing a light test on the dash like before you start your car.... but i would test the alternator and see if it fixes everything otherwise i would do a seperate diagnosis.
If that is the case, would replacing the alternator fix the problem? Being that the one i have now isnt charging the battery? About a month ago I was getting a compression test done, and they had to jump the battery to even do it, its been fine since, not sure if that has ne thing to do with it, but again ill get a test done.
I checked the fuse (sp alternator) and it is blown i keep replacing it but it keeps blowing. I replaced the battery. It starts now but when i started drving the fuse blew again. so i dont know...
