Would a JL Audio 500/1 be enough to power a 12" JL Audio w6v2?

Would a JL Audio 500/1 be enough to power a 12" JL Audio w6v2? If not, what do you recommend?

The 12W6v2-D4 is a DVC 4 ohm 400W continues, [RMS] sub, the 500/1 is a 1x500W RMS into 1.5-4 ohms @ 11V-15.5V amp, and it would drive that sub, [VCs wired in parallel] perfectly, because it is a 500W amp driving a 400W speaker, I would just back off on the gain control on the amp a little. 94
