New springs on stock suspension
I think my springs are dieing in my car. Was hoping to get a set of King Super Super Lows (drops 2.5" + wear in).
How is my stock shocks going to take the new springs? Car has 148k on the clock, so I have a feeling it's slightly possible that the shocks might be on the last legs.
I do plan on getting a set of decent coilovers, but it wont be for a while. Maybe 8-10 months.
I'll try to hold off, but Id like to know incase my springs suddenly give way I know what my options are.
Thanks

My recommendation would be to purchase what you really want (coilovers) now, instead of taking baby steps. If you can't afford coilovers now, just save your money until you are ready to buy.
do it right the first time. why spend 3 or 4 times the amount of money correcting something you did half assed?
either get some nice springs coupled with koni yellow shocks or go with full coilover system. if you are going to be slammed, get a front camber kit. use the washer trick for the rear if the camber if bad back there. maybe look into some rear lca's. don't forget to get an alignment about a week after you put the suspension on.
