You can swap your power rack with a manual one.

From what I have read, the answer is no. I recall a "how to" thread on here before. It is not as simple as just disconnecting the lines.

All you have to do is loop the lines, and make sure it has fluid inside the rack.
IF you took the rack out Along with the p/s, you'd have to find an alternate way of steering the car then.

That was me. I am running the maunal steering rack in my Integra.

You don't need to leave fluid in the rack. Cut and loop the lines and you're set. Where the rack and pinion gears mesh, is a grease filled chamber that's full of grease whether you have fluid in the piston or not. Leaving the power piston empty doesn't hurt anything.
There never was a manual Integra (94-01) so, there is no true manual conversion like there is in a Civic. The civic and integra racks aren't interchangeable because the mounts are different. The internals are interchangable though if you want faster steering on a civic.

Don't state things if you don't know.
The Civic manual rack is a direct bolt into the DC chassis.
If you read the thread I state that I have one in my car at the moment.

Post the P/N for the Civic rack.

I should have been clearer I guess. The 96-00 Civic racks won't bolt into a 94-01 Integra. It wouldn't surprise me if the older Civics would bolt in. I didn't consider them. They share so many components I guess I should have thought about them.

Some Del Sol's, just check with your local dealer or go to the Honda e-store. </TD></TR></TABLE>
You just need the rack, correct? The part number is 53040-SR3-A01. It is $377.88 but may be cheaper elsewhere. Here is the link from SL Honda.

You need the steering rack, and the knuckle joint from the Civic, the part which connects the rack to the column.
Here you go, a write up I did
