crushed header

Default crushed header

now i have bottomed out i few times now making the bottom end of the header kind of flat. question is, will i be losing any power becuase of this?

It probably won't make too much difference, depending on how flattened its become. Minor scrapes are one thing... but if you've slammed this things into speed bumps at 30 mph, it might not be so great...

Of course you're losing power. By flattening the header, you've constricted the exhaust flow.

Why are you bottoming out so much? Is the car lowered too much? Bad suspension?

i have steelies on the front now. im not really botteming out so much but a few times theres a railroad track that dips in so there were a few time i hit that which flatened to header a little
