Default Lower Rear Control Arm

What is a good lower rear control arm for the 1999 Honda Civic Hatchback?

Price and Brand both make a big difference I know but I wanted to get something within my budget ($150.00?)

Thanks!

Keep stock ones if you don't need holes for sway bars.

yea go for OEM.. I don't get people buying aftermarket LCAs.. It's just bling i guess.. the OEM LCAs are as same as the CTR one so they will be more than enuf to handle whatever you are planning to do..

Other then the added 'bling,' and they are a little lighter then stock, they do offer the hole for a swaybar.

Omni's are probably the best for the price:

$100 at kteller.

There is a sponser on here that has them for $95 shipped.

if it's a track-only car, the 2.5lbs unsprung weight is worthwhile. around town however, I would just go with OEM. my CX didn't have the holes for a rear swaybar so I bought OEM teg LCA's on ebay for like $40 and installed new bushings. that brings up another point, replacement bushings are generally unavailable for aftermarket LCA's.

Not while there is still another 300+lbs of unsprung weight on the car.

I can think of a lot better ways to spend $150 on a track car. Saving 2.5lbs on control arms for a production sedan isn't a priority.

ya I feel you on money being better spent elsewhere. I didn't exactly mean they are worth the price or anything, I was just mentioning their only redeeming quality. I guess I should have worded that better. like I said, I have stock teg LCA's on my eg cx hatch, I definitely think it's the way to go if you need to mess with them at all.

Thanks for the post guys!

I decided not to get them.

I bought a Rear Strut Bar and Front Strut Bar.
