Default Integra DC trunk removal

Im taking off my trunk today and was wondering if anyone had any pics or a detailed description of how to do it. I know its only like 4 bolts and you have to peel back the headliner but Im not sure where and I def dotn want to F my car up. I did a search but the pics arent up anymore. Thanks.

Easy rod... its easier than that. You unluck your rear trunk and look underneath and theres gonna be two brackets both with 2 bolts that need to be unbolted. Remove the struts, those bolts, and the wiring harness for the rear wiper and you got yourself a removed trunk.

Yeah, you'll definately need someone to help you that freakin hatch is pretty heavy, carbon fiber hatch is worth the investment.

i was surprised how easy it is to take apart this car...no wonder how thieves have a field day with our cars probably taking the whole thing apart in an hour or two.

ok just went and popped my trunk to see where the bolts were and couldnt see them...im a little confused on where to pull back the headliner to reveal the bolts. Do I have to remove the 2 struts first? seriously im not special, i just didnt see them...

There should be two hinges at the top, rectangle shaped with two bolts in them, im not near my car so its hard to explain but they should be there. If you have to pull down you headliner just enough to see them at least. Ill look for a diagram im at the tech school right now.

the hatch ways ALOT, those struts put up quite a fight with it keeping it up, no wonder they often die.
