Default what kind of pistons and rods do you suggest?

About to go turbo on a 94 LS, I have no idea who to go to for pistons and rods and all that. Open to any suggestions. I am looking to boost as much as I can on the track, but it will be a street driven car. So lemme know what you think. Thanks.

If you go to the search link (upper right hand corner of the screen) and type in Pistons, there will be a couple of info. on it.

I did not try to type in Turbo Pistons, but Im sure something will come up.

eagles & je's
eagles & endyns
eagles & arias
eagles & ross

catch the drift?
for the price, the rods cannot be beat.
pistons are.....well, debateable on what you want to do.

i'd go for je's.

JE has a newer 'turbo piston' that has a more dished face, good for boost. The 9.0:1 for the GSR will work fine, not sure if you'll be exactly at 9:1 due to the LS head, but, you'll be close to it !

8.8 JE piston, eagle rod

eagle rods & endyn pistons (my set-up)
eagle rods & ross pistons (friend's set-up)
eagle rods & arias pistons
eagle rods & je's pistons

The Endyn pistons come with higher compression than the other manufacturers pistons. But it also depends on your application. Just some food for thought?

Some more food for though.. Endyn pistons are just Wiseco pistons--with some sanding done.

To be honest, Endyn pistons made by wiesco look nothing like wiesco pistons made for hondas. Endyn does sand their pistons, and wiesco does make them, but they are not one in the same.

Weisco makes the pistons to ENDYN specs.....

They'll do it for anyone.

So will Ross and other piston makers.

Just about EVERY piston maker does it too... about $100-$200 more per set of 4.
