Re: (Hella_JDM)
for under 600 whp and under 9000 rpm get the cheapest....Eagle rods and any kind pistons. If you will push you motor then get better rods (Pauter or Manley) and CP pistons (most accurate pistons made)

if hes one a budjet then eagles and wiseco, cp's are really damn good pistons but a lil more expenisive. besides the wisecos are the lightest pistons on the market, the have the longest sideskirt to keep things stable at high rpms, they have the deepest valve reliefs and they already come coated on the sides.

Re: (b16sedan)
i'm going to be doing an lsvtec setup also, but i'm not shooting for quite the horspower goal. 450 at most but with a different tubo than i have now.
i have been considering weisco pistons, eagle rods.
not to steal your thread but what rings should i use. and what bearings should i use? which are easier to install for a first time engine build. acl or stock honda?
let me know. thanks.
also do you guys think a block guard would be necessary? daily driven car

Re: (B16Civic93)
I always use and suggest Arias pistons for any application.
Also, if it will stay around 550 H.P. max, and less than 9000 RPM, then the new Eagle rods with the 3/8 bolt will work great for a great price.
Manley, Pauter, Cunningham, Carrillo and Crower will also handle what you need, but cost a more $

the wisecos come with high pressure rings. and most people will say stock honda bearings, you just gotta know what color they are or pull the measurements, or you could get acl's or clevites (i believe the same company) and run those.
