Hey you bay area HT members. I need some advice!! First of all who would you trust for a quality install on a b16 motor along with some machine work, then a turbo install soon after after it is BAR certified.

Post how much you have spent in labor and machining and where...for the following:

1. Install on B16 motor into a EG 92 hatch
2. Port and polish on head including install on everything in the head.
3. Block overboring a bit with install on Eagle rods, Arias pistons.
4. Getting crank balanced?? etc....

What does all this typically cost???

5. Install on a DRAG turbo kit soon after..

 

read. learn. do it yourself. pull the head, remove the valvetrain, have the head ported, reassemble to specs, send the block out to be bored, buy the tools to rebuild, assemble to specs. you'll feel alot better when something goes wrong because you know it was only your fault, and if nothing goes wrong, youll feel accomplished.
