An ecu not meant for the engine will not make it run better. Anyway, they ought to be the same. And there should be no speed limiter on a stock usdm ecu.

if there is not a speed limiter on my car than why wont it go over 115mph. and yes it does pull to 115 and hit a limiter. and your name is SVOboy shouldnt you be on a ford forum........

I could care less about fords, svo stands for something else...

Perhaps because you are driving a 106 bhp 1.5 liter engine is stopping you from going insanely and unsafely fast.

Even those jdm ecus that had the limiter has it set for 123mph, I believe.

Since when does an integra compare to a 70bhp civic? And there are varieties of d15, by the way, if you want to say the not as common 70bhp cx engine, you should say d15b8, to be clear, because there are stock d15s that make 130hp and stock d15s that make 62 hp.

svoboy = RIGHT!
you = WRONG!
and im sorry that you went from a super awsome fast integra, to a 1.5 non-vtec
by the way why are u trying to go over 105 ? i would understand if you where on the track pulling 11-12 1/4 times, but i really dont think you a have a turbo or built d15 motor. so that means you want to drive over 103 on the high way right? your one of the kids that saw the fast and furious movie and said "hey that looks like fun" arnt you.... ONLY SPEED ON THE TRACK!

I told you they were the same ecu. If you don't believe me you can download the bins off pgmfi and compare them. They might be slightly different but same engine/same generation = same ecu to me.

the P75 has a 112mph speed limiter
the PR4 should have the same limiter but I'm not positive.

they are virtually the same ECU, swapable as long as you get the OBD1 versions.

only way around the speed limiter is to chip the ECU with a P75 map and remove it that way.

Did the p75 really come with a limiter? Why didn't the p72 or p28?

I pulled the bin from pgmfi a while back for the P75.

I have no idea why some honda ECUs got them and some didn't.
The P06/P61/P28/P07/P30-209/P09/P05 didn't, the P75/PR3/P30-203 did, the list goes on and on. (just the ones I have sitting on my hd at the momment)
