Default obd0 pr3 to run poor man's type R allmotor build?

i have a poor man's type R setup in my crx ( gsr block, b16 head , pr3 pistons, skunk 2 IM etc etc..)
my compression is about 11.5 to 1
im curious if there is any way i could just get a chip burned for my pr3 that would run my car well.. or if my ONLY option is to switch to obd1.
i want to make sure i HAVE to switch before i go doing it.. my car is FINISHED other than tuning options , and i figured with my adjustable cam gears and FPR i could use a good basemap and put it on a dyno and a decent tuner could suck some good numbers out of it with just messing with timeing and fuel pressure etc... let me know what you guys think.

You can use BRE for programming a PR3 ecu.
PM JDogg, he tuned my car with it.

i IMed him.. i don't see what good it will do me when i need a very very close base map because the only fine tuning i can do to it will be with FPR and adjustable cam gears and distributor timing... noone in my area ( kansas city ) messes with tuning obd0 programs

yup, obd0-obd1 harness, chipped obd1 ecu, 4 wire 02, obd1 dizzy. then u can get a nice basmap for it and have it tuned. OR keep the stock PR3 and use a v-afc. not the best option, but if yer area doesnt have any tuners computent with BRE, then the vafc is the way to go

i might consider the vafc2 option since i can get one of those pretty cheap.. what all can be adjusted with a vafc on obd0??

i looked into it a little bit and it seems like using a vafc is probably the way to go. . cheap , easy, and lights up and looks nifty

its not like im boosted or anything, or super high compresion, its just 11.5 to 1 with ctr cams.. i don't think i will need anything more than a well made basemap and a vafc maybe..
