Default b18a1 into 95 civic

new to b-series... and i have my first question.
last week i bought a f*ed up 91 integra which i plan on taking the motor and rebuilding with some new pistons and rods and other various things. (wasnt satisfied with my turbo d15, want to go faster). its got a b18a1 in it and its going into a 95 civic... *hopefully*... i need to know if this is possible considering the motor is an obd0 and its going into an obd1 car. i kinda want to keep the car obd1 and i need to know if the motor can be switched to accomodate. if so, what needs to be done. or is it just a lost cause

Do some searching next time and this question will solve itself. OBD0-OBD1 or vice-versa harnesses are commonplace. Do some research and learn a thing or two.

That wont make it legal, that will just get it running.

In order to get a '91 b18a running in your '95 civic, you need an obd1 distributor, ecu, and obd0-obd1 jumper harness. You'll either need a hydro tranny or you'll have to buy the cable to hydro conversion.

You can either replace the entire intake manifold or you can use the obd0 manifold and wire in the injector resistor box.
You'll need to reuse your stock civic harness and adapt it to the obd0 engine.
This will include things like, adding a 4 wire o2 sensor, changing the plugs to the injectors, and changing the plug and extending the wires for the fan switch, etc.

Any motor in any car can run "gud" if its done right.

That doesnt make it legal, though.

Damn, I'm glad I live in Mississippi. They don't care if you have a catalytic converter here, much less what year the motor is.

Not quite.
The fan switch for the obd0 motor is on the back of the block and uses two single wire connectors.
The fan switch for the obd1 motor is on the thermostat housing and uses a two wire connector.

You still have to wire that up.
