I have an F22
Take out all spark plugs, put Tester in spark plug #1 crank engine 4 times, while holding gas WOT... then just do that for all the cylinders
and to do a wet test you put a table spoon of oil into the spark plug hole, and do the same thing as the other test right?
what is the average Compression for my motor?

crank until the gauge doesn't go up any more like Jim said, not just 4 times. It's best to have a helper crank the car for you while you watch the gauge.
also pull your fuel pump fuse so you don't flood the cylinders with fuel while testing.
wet test same way w/ a capful of oil.

4 time is not enough
i do a 7 time crank, BUT MAKE SURE YOU DO ALL CYLINDER THE SAME CRANK.
do a double check on the pull just to gather more data.
fuel pump fuse needs to come off
putting a teaspoon worth of oil will locate your problem if you are lossing compression with the ring/valve,etc

Actually 28 is more correct if you go by the factory service manual. 10% is easier to remember, and close enough.
