I just purchased a Clarion VRX755VD unit and was wondering if the screen will clear the dash. If possible can someone post side pics of their screen in a DA when open, thanks.

I tried searching both h-t and g2ic but came up with little information I could use.

i have had a flip out screen in the head unit place already, it fits fine with the dash, but when you shift to 3rd and 5th, your hand gets kinda close

 

by any chance do you have any pics?

 

no im sorry, i took it out about 4 months ago, oh by the way, i had mine in a DC teg though

 

i have one but its n a DB8 if you want i do have pictures also

i dont think you will have any problems as far as it clearing and g2ic doesnt really help you out that much only some parts of that forum do....

ummm thats gonna be a close call.....i was looking at a flip out dvd-indash unit and i beleive the only one that clears is the kenwoods since they come out a different way and they have the most slide out adjustment as well as angle......but i still didnt want to risk it, so i went with the new alpine iva-w200 double din dvd.
