Default Lowering a 98 Dx

Hey, just had a quick question, maybe someone will know. I lowered the Civic about 2.25" and it ate the hell outta my tires, didn't have a camber kit on it. What i'm wondering, is there a way that a camber kit of sorts could be jury rigged to help slow the rate in which the tires get eaten? I thought i'd heard that for the rear, you could do it with some washers, but didn't know if there was somethign similar that could be done with the front. Anyone?

you should just get an alignment first before you go spending all your money on a camber kit. see if that helps then go from there

get your toe fixed at an alignment shop. that wears out tires the most. BTW skunk2 makes a nice camber kit. i have the front and rear. works great. then again im lower that 2.5

Yap, you can do the rear by putting washers in the behind the top arm, but the front you need a camber kit for i believe, i don't know of any other way to adjust it....Once you get a camber kit, get an alignment, my friend just had it done for $60 and it is 100x better.
