Default Camber kit?

hey guys! I lowered my car quite low but not slammed low.. and some one told me that i should get a camber kit for my new tires so it wont wear out fast. One of my buddies on the other hand that i dont need a camber kit.. do I really need it?

Short answer, yes.

Long answer, when you lowered your car, you offset the camber angle, or the angle at which your tires contact the ground. This is set from the factory, of course. Offsetting the angle usually results in greater tire wear on the inside or outside of the tires, prompting you to get new ones sooner. A camber kit moves the angle back where it needs to be. There's more to it than that, but I'm just being general.
