got the harness off of a 94 EX civic D16z6 and then swaped onto a Jdm B16a gen 2.... same car, the car runs, thorws cells (forgot witch one) cant get to the car since im under way (navy) tried to look it up... but no luck.. some peeps say it is simple plug anf play.. just want to know if i need to find new harness or splice some wires on it.. thaks

 

What code(s) were you throwing? You probably mixed and matched plugs. Unless if the B16 looks for a knock then youll have to wire that in.

 

i forgot what codes, but when i did it, the flashes didnt come up to be anything on my lil sheet of paper with the codes on it.. so i dont know what code is... right now im on a boat so i cant get to my car.... i saw that u were on so i made this post cuz i knew u were going to answer.. i just know u know ur **** so i took a shot at it heh... but what do u mean when it looks for a knock... and on the harness most plugs are colored or they fit certain ones... not like all plugs can fit any plug.... thrad sounds like a retard post but i just cant think of a real good way to put it.. but thanks for trying

u might just need to wire up ur knock sensor
