What are the front and rear skins made of? ABS plastic or urethane or what? Anyone aware? I've got a small crack in the rear bumper that I need to get a repair kit for and I want to make sure I know what it is before purchasing.

im pretty sure its ABS plastic. You should be able to find a marking on the inside of the bumper i would think

 

it is ABS, i don't know when they started changing to the fiber impregnated ABS, but i don't think that was until 2000 maybe..

 

IIRC '96-'00 Civic bumpers are made of polypropylene. On the inside of the bumper you'll see a mark that says <PP>.

Not sure about '92-'95 Civics, but it wouldn't shock me if they were made of the same.

 

it's bumperilium, it's a special compound a Japanese guy invented because they kept running their cars into stuff.

Well, you should see some mark that says what it is. A lot of parts have marks like that. Just Google what it means.
