Ok im burning alot of oil, what are the possible causes? My guess is rings and stem seals but is there anything else that could cause this problem? When i take my head in ill get the seals replaced and also bring the block in to get spec'd. Then all i need to do is hone it, that is if its to spec, slap the new rings in and break 'er in. The weird thing is that my motor is 200 psi all around. When i start my car itll smoke 10 seconds after starting it, then when its warm it smokes when im 5-6+ rpm. Sounds like they both need replacing but what else should i look for?

check the gaskets on the valves. since you have good compression it might not be your rings. just oil leaking in through the valves.
