Okay, I'm thinking about doing a motor swap OR LS/VTEC, though I'm worried about reliability issues. Does anyone have any advice??? If anyone has done a swap or conversion, have you had any problems since?

Are you going to spend money rebuilding the engine????
If not and you have 6 grand go with the B18C5 (Type R)
If you don't want to spend that much money on an engine get the B18C1

As long as the build-up and installation is done by a reputable shop that has experience with the LS-VTEC, you will be fine and the setup will be just as reliable as any Honda motor.
