Default Best tranny for 92 ls?

i have a 89 crx with a 92 ls motor and tranny, but i need a new transmission and i am not sure what kind i should by. Would any B-series transmission fit? What do you guys think would be the best i can buy. I have about $600. also i want to put a-vtech head on it but dont know what type of head to get. As you can tell i dont know much about hondas/acuras but i am trying to learn.

any bseries tranny will fit, but youre probably limited to a 90-93 integra cable tranny if you have the mounts for a cable tranny...94+ are hydro trannys

theres tons of threads about trannys in general..

look for a b16 or a 92-93 gsr ys1 tranny...

for $600 you should be able to get your tranny rebuilt. look for a blown one for casing parts to repair yours and have it freshened up so theres no guessing in whats up with the one your gonna get. somebody could tell you its a mint b16 cable tranny with lsd and 40k miles...you put it in and theres no 1-3rd or lsd and its a ls. just my 2 cent anyway.

just run it without a tranny... attach the clutch directly to the drive shaft... and prepare to always turn left
