Default The mystery lives

ok I have the transmission swapped but now that I have everything together I get in the car everything seems to be working but the car won't go forward or backwards. The gears are shifting like they are suppose to but the car will not go. So I am completely baffled. Can anyone help me?

Did you reconnect the clutch actuator?

After I have reinstalled everything, I start the engine and shift throught the gears and the car does everything it should except physicaly move. There are no strange noises and the clutch arm is moving, you can hear the gears moving as you shift through the gears. I am absolutely lost on this. I can only think of two possible things, somehow the pressure plate is not engaging the clutch plate, or somehow during the instalation of the transmission the differential and lost contact with the final drive. other than that I am nearly certain that everything is as it should be.
