Finally got the hatch running good enough to go to the track. A turboed d16z6 on 22psi, street tires, and a gutted interior. Does that sound about right? How can I get an idea on how much horsepower it has from the mph?

looks like it has a lot more in it too!

 

that should have been a 12sec pass, that mph is pretty high, with slicks you'll be in 12s for sure

 

lol dude you need to launch better what are you getting like 3.5 60 fts? my buddy hit a 11.6@124 with bfg's..

Yea, I didn't even know the guy, he just came up after the run and said he got it on video. It was a good thing too because my time slip didn't print at the end of the run. (i was pissed about that)

Cool, that's what i was looking for, thanks. I'm figuring about 2150lbs with me in it. Is 300hp about right for a single cam on 22 psi?

 

if your only making 300 at 22 psi you have the smallest turbo possible...also i guess you dont know what your 60 ft was right?

 

22 psi on a t3to4e should be making close to 400... my brothers stock z6 made 264 with 13 psi on a smaller sc50

 

our drag s10 did 10.8 at 125

you must be launching or no tractino for sure

you will have a nice 12 sec pass with some slicks

I guess I suck at engine building/tuning. 2.3 60ft. No traction in 1st and 2nd.

 

i think he'd be in the 11s with a 124mph trap speed.

get some slicks and get some 11s man!!

you're seriously convincing me to get pistons/rods for my setup. hehe

Yea, that was a vette, looks like he ran about 14.1 that run. A little later that night he spanked my buddies NSX.

There's a pretty good chance the mph will go up when the boost is cranked up more too.
