Default intercooler couplers Home Depot?

Im short a couple of couplers. Will the plumbing rubber Hoime depot ones work or will they melt? Id place them after the intercooler which should be a bit cooler. Anybody do this?

don't use them, they rip down the middle from the pressure.

NAPA radiator hose in the size you need. Works like a charm.

to answer your question, yes they will work. the napa hose is better, but the fernco couplers will do the trick! i think i have four on my car right now, holding 8 psi just fine

And I use a 90 deg bend radiator hose for some of piping to my intercooler.

i have used the home depot couplers also, for the charge pipes and on the turbo itself for the intake, so far so good. i do feel however if i did it again i'd probably get 1 or 2 feet of the 4 ply silicon stuff, i think you can still find it this way for somewhat cheaper than paying $24 a piece.

24 dollars a piece?!?! they are like 1/4 that cost, you can get a set of 4-ply couplers and t-bolt clamps for like 40 bucks...

the rubber only plumbing couplers from lowes/home depot suck *****. What ever you do don't use them; you'll regret it.

Get some nylon reinforced hose from napa or a reinforced radiator hose with the correct bend(s) in it.

Im using rad. hose from NAPA Ive ran 20psi with out any issues. They sell silicone hose sections as well. Decent price for a decent hose.
