Default Turning Car off at traffic lights to save on gas?

Better or worse for gas milage... i know the light cylces in my area and if i hit it at the wrong time i could wait for almost 5 minutes at an idle... my question is if i stop my motor and start it right when the light turns yellow on the other side, will i get better milage?

if you know that it's going to be a long time, go for it. but if it's for something like 60 seconds, just leave it going, better to leave it running than to kill the starter.
