Default How are gusset dimples made?

Can anyone show me how those gusset dimples are made like whats tools etc.

I see no cages around here where ppl put that to good use like those japanese tuned cars do.

In someones thread about "what I just bought" or something along those lines, they show a die set. Its bascially a dye set for a press, so you can stamp out the hole and form the metal all at once.

hole saw that **** out and use a press with the right sized socket, ive heard works good if you cant drop money for a punch and die set

They are called dimple dies. Pretty common in pre-runner/4x4 shops. If you look on E-bay they can be found there or even just google search.

try pirate4x4.com the vendors there always have a price war on sets of these.
lots of people call them "speed holes" too
and you can reinforce them with tubing welded through the center of the hole as wel..
