Default Help with a future build

Okay guys- im not in any sort of trouble or nothin, but i need some help for future preparation of an all motor set up

Car: 1995 EJ1
MOTOR: 1998 USDM ITR - stock.
Tranny:S80

Question: What exactly can be done. I mean i know about all the bolt on stuff basically, Cams, cam gears- yadda yadda yadda... but what i need to know is all the technical stuff. Considering im completely stupid when it comes to machining and head work, i need some kind of break down on what kind of head work there is as in Milling the head, decking the block. I mean sure i can sit here and say thing, but i have no clue what im talking about. I need someone or a couple of people to help me out here by explaining it too me. I try'd to do a search but nothin came up on a mild set-up on an itr.

I just want a Mild set-up, so that when the time comes i can drop this motor back into my daily driver, but still be able to run low 13's - mid- high 12's. Expense isn't really an issue right now, i just need somewhat of a plan to be laid out, to things that will give me the most beneifit, without blowing my compression ratio out the water. Like i said a mild setup no 13+ Cr setups, maybe a 11.5-12:1 on a daily driver. I have a year to do all this stuff, cuz im dropping the motor out of my car now, and puttin a b16 in as a Daily driver and the ITR is going on an engine stand
too be built over time. Thanks for anyone that helps!

**Edit* forgot to say that when i say mild i mean within the 195-210 whp range, nothing extremely raw

See thats where i run into a wall at.. I dont know the names for everything that can be done.. Thats my only bad spot at the moment.. I need to know the names of some of the things machine work wise... I know this isnt easy, but im just learning about everything on my own,so its a bit harder.but thanks

**Edit** found a website that tells me everything i need to know about things that can be done machining wise.!... now comes for the question about the set-up. A Mild street build is all im wanting. Something thats not gonna break down every week. most importantly i dont want a SUPER high Compression Ratio...13+ is too much, anything under that with a tune will be good. Im the first to admit im retarded, but o well u gotta learn somewhere

I think you can do it stock block....(thinner headgasket for a lil bump in compression) just need an smsp header w/ some krazy *** tune and some cams w/ valvetrain
