Need help y5 swap in crx..
i put a d16y5 in my crx and i havent tried to start it yet but i recently had a d15z1 in my car it is vtec-e also but they run like **** considering that they run on like 12 valves and i have nothing to kick vtec in so basically they are just **** motors but if i convert to obd1 do i have to use the lame vtec-e ecu? or can i use like a p28 or will it run like **** with the p28?

vtec-e is designed to have all valves opened at ~2800-3000
if you run a p28, the vtec-e motor will choke from 3000-4800
huge loss of midrange power

yeah so should i just use a apexi vafc and just put vtec at like 3000? because i had a homie that had a vte mini me swap and he set his vtec at like 5500 and it worked yeah it was a little slow untill vtec kicked in but then it opend loud so i donno.
