Runnin rich???
I did a b16a swap into my 90 crx dx and it runs fine except for the point that its real rich. I brought it into the shop and they replaced the injectors bcuz one was leaking, and then they replaced the O2 sensors bcuz they were bad. However the car is still running rich does anybody have any idea why, he said that on the distributer there is a gasket that can get oil on it and then that could make it run rich or the ecu isnt grounded correctly does anybody have any ideas????
Well I took the negative line off the battery for the night and it reset the car and the check engine light doesn't come on for any of the codes it did b4 except the knock sensor which is just a bull **** code anyway. I also put in the chipped ecu to try that 2 (I tried both ecu's) However I dont think that it stopped running real rich, what else could it be the guy in the shop said something about oil getting on the dizzy and that messing up the firing of the injectors. Or the Ground for the ecu is bad wtf is he talking about? And how can I get my car to stop running so rich?
Have you switch the o2 sensors wirings? When I did a b16a swap in my da I had to switch the primary o2 and the secondary 02 wiring on the ecu. One o2 is responsible for cylinder 4 and 1 and the other is for 2 and 3.
I am not talking about manifold lengthes. There are reason whys 1st generation b16as headers have two 02s bungs rather than one on the collectors, so that they can divide the readings from the cylinders into two sets.

Getting it tuned will usually solve the running rich issue. If you aren't throwing any codes and you have the ecu that was meant for that motor, there's not much to work off of.
I'd change to OBD1 and get a Crome tuner to get you set straight.
