Timing problem? belt stays on edge of cam gears. pics inside.
Look on the teeth of your cam gears. There is usually a 'clean' area where the timing belt before never rode. If the new one doesn't touch that area you are ok.
Rotate the engine several rotations and make sure it doesn't walk. Make sure the crank pulley is installed otherwise the belt will walk a bit.

i remember the old belt was on the edge also so im guessing its not in the "clean" spot, and that its not gunna walk off? thx guys
