Installing traction bar...alignment? searched...
Hey guys, hows it going? Ive been searching and searching but I am unable to find a definitive answer. I recently received my F-R traction bars, and I had a couple questions. Ive been itching to install them right before I throw in my freshly built sleeved block, but I do not want to be bringing a freshly-put together car to the alignment shop, or give it to any shop for that matter until its all broken in. Is it possible to not have any negative effects with driving the car a few hundred miles without an alignment? Is it possible to "eye" or somewhat measure the caster? One side was off a bit on my last alignment so it pulls a little, so I could probably adjust until it doesnt? Can someone give me a step-by-step to help me get it decent? Sorry for all the questions, its just that, as most of you, I just want the best for my baby
TIA!!!
TIA!!!

You should def. get an alignment as soon as possible with the traction bar install. WHt not just wait and watch. No tech likes this but every tech appreciates someone who loves their car. Preload is just when the bars start to pull on the lower control arm. Be nice to the ppl at the alignment shop and they will probably be nice to you.
